Alexander William Manchester

Alexander William Manchester died unexpectedly on April 19, 2023, in Arvada, Colorado. Alex was born April 20, 1987, in Williamsville, New York. Alex was a kind and generous person who loved his wife, his sons, his family, his pets, the Indianapolis Colts, the Indianapolis 500, IU basketball, and his friends. He was very likable & polite and left a favorable impression with all people who truly knew him. Alex grew up in Carmel, Indiana and graduated from Westfield, Indiana High School. He earned both a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Indianapolis. Alex worked primarily as an Addiction Recovery counselor and was very caring in helping those struggling with that issue.

Alex is survived by his wife Naomi (Ditzenberger) Manchester, his sons Gavin Michael Manchester & Mason James Manchester, their mother and former partner Melissa Oran, and his parents Mary & Michael Manchester. He is also survived by his grandparents Helen and Glen Tonini. Alex was also fortunate to have a number of aunts and uncles who cared about him (Kathy Manchester, Patricia Emmons & Steve Schroeder, Mark & Ann Wittoesch, Bill & Linda Emmons, Mahmoud & Sue Nabulsi, Jim & Yvonne Emmons, and John Emmons) and numerous cousins.

Alex will be sorely missed by all of his family.
