Alice Grable
January 8, 1947 – January 17, 2021
GRABLE, Alice. Age 74, of Kettering, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 17, 2021, at Kettering Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Nancy Stubblefield.
Alice is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Grable; children, Brian Grable (wife, Kristie), Gary Grable (wife, Susan) and Anthony Grable; grandchildren, Brittanie, David, William, Ashleigh, Christopher and Meghan (husband, Elliott); brother, Chet Stubblefield (wife, Margie) and sisters, Sue Harris (husband, Charlie), Cleta Haas, Mattie Jones (husband, Jim) and Faye League (husband, Mike) and by a host of relatives and dear friends.
Alice was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was deeply loved and she loved all deeply. Mom will be greatly missed by her family, extended family, and friends. She served as an interpreter showing a passion for deaf people and actively participated in her church community. Alice ran a good race and impacted the lives around her.
In the spirit of Alice’s love for the deaf community, donations are welcome and can be made in lieu of flowers to The Alice Grable Memorial Fund in support of furthering support and work in this area.

Alice was one of my Schwans customers. One of the sweetest and godliest ladies I have ever met. Despite all that was ailing her, I never once heard her complain. She loved talking about her family. We had nice discussions about church and the Bible. She will be missed dearly.
