CLARK, Ana Maria, age 66, surrounded by her loving children, met her savior on Monday, May 14, 2018. Ana fought a courageous six year battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Born in Havana, Cuba on December 13 1951, Ana immigrated to the United States with her family in September, 1961 at the age of 9 years old. After graduation from Fairmont East High School in 1969, Ana began her most rewarding work and lifelong love affair with raising her three children to whom she was endlessly devoted. Her life was well lived and her indomitable spirit remains with her children. Ana was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel Fernandez and Maria Alodia Simon and big brother, Nestor. She is survived by her children: Ana (Ralph) Ludwig and Kathy (Don) Van Eiszner of Kettering and David (Megan) Brittingham of Torrington, WY; Grandchildren Amanda (deceased), Lucas, Tina, Sarah, Victoria and Jesse and 5 great-grandchildren; her brother Nelson (Hilda) and sister-in-law, Nancy; and many nieces and nephews whom she greatly loved. Ana’s family and friends are invited to join her children in celebrating her life on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd. Dayton, OH 45429 beginning at 5 pm followed by a funeral service at 7 pm. Pastor David Smith officiating.
