Anna Dornsife

Ann was a loving and engaging member of the Oak Creek Terrace Caring Place residents, Carriage Trace Condos, and the Robertann Drive Rowdies communities. As past director of Kirkmont Preschool (Beavercreek, OH) for almost 15 years, her caring vision touched many children’s lives and their families, along with their dedicated preschool teachers and staff.

Ann is survived by her daughter Ronna Dornsife with partner Teresa Jones (Durham, NC) and son Eric Dornsife, daughter in-law Karen Dornsife, and grandson Zachary Davis (Kettering OH), plus stepsons Dan, Rob, Jon, and Daryl Newman. Ann is also survived by her sister Marty Fisher, nephews Steven and Deron Fisher, Sam and Josh Hook and their families. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Ronald Dornsife, Jack Newman, and sister Rhea Hook.

Our Mom’s love of the arts, music, literature, and cats influenced her children, friends and the greater Dayton community. As such, Ann leaves behind friends of all ages.

Ann’s ashes will be privately interred in the columbarium niche with her husband Jack Newman’s ashes at the Dayton National Cemetery. As per Mom’s wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
