Anna Sue Korbel, age 94, of Dayton, OH passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 13th, 2015. She was born in Cleveland, OH to Peter and Susan Mucha who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband John W. Korbel and son, James A. Korbel. Her siblings, Mary, Dorthy, John and Andy also preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, John P. Korbel, sister-in-law Doris Mucha, nieces and nephews, Jennine, Andrea, Frankie, Allison, Robert, Dennis and Russell and cousins Joe and Cindy. Anna served her country during WWII in The United States Cadet Nurse Corps. She was a 1946 graduate of St. Elizabeth School of Nursing where she worked as a Registered Nurse. Anna was a cat lover who took in numerous stray cats, her current cat Gina survives. The family suggests that she be remembered with a donation to ASPCA, or the charity of your choice. Anna loved her family and her family loved her. Interment will be private at Woodland Cemetery with final arrangements entrusted to Tobias funeral Home, Belmont Chapel, Dayton, OH.
