BALLINGER, Annaliese R. age 90 of Dayton passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Maria Schindele, her husband, Samuel Ballinger in 2004. She is survived by 2 daughters, Sue (Don) McCollor and Jeanette (Terry) Adams; 4 grandchildren, Karl, Byron, Jason and Lindsay. 3 great grandchildren, Maggie, Iona and Gavin. Annaliese was born in Germany and came to the United States via Ellis Island in New York. She was a Girl Scout for over 20 years serving as a leader for 15 and teaching dance to Girl Scouts. She was a member of Miami Valley Folk Dance Club, and St John’s United Church of Christ. Gathering of Friends from 2 – 4 pm Thursday, January 12, 2012 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BELMONT CHAPEL, 648 Watervliet Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Sanctuary at Wilmington Place Activity Fund, 264 Wilmington Ave, Dayton in memory of Annaliese.
