

Anthony C. Jordan, age 63, passed away on April 28, 2014. He graduated from Our Lady of Rosary, Carroll High School class of 1968, and Sinclair Community College in 2009. He was a Journeyman Toolmaker at Brinkman Tool & Die, Jena Tool, and Delphi on Needmore Rd. until its closing. He was a member of St. Helen Parish and was the St. Helen Festival Chairperson in 1990, and was a current Raffle Ticket Area Commander and the “750” man. He was a Board Member of the Milton Athletic Club and a columnist for the MAC Newsletter. He was preceded in death by his son, Matthew, parents, Eugene and Gwendolyn (Taylor) Jordan, and father in law, Frank M. Mattes. Survived by his wife of 41 years, Rita (Mattes) Jordan, three daughters, Rebecca (Edward) Crislip, Elizabeth (Bryan) Ross, Julie (Justin) Reeves, one granddaughter, Jocelyn Ross, four grandsons, Sebastien Beirise, Lukas Ross, Jackson and Joshua Reeves, his three sisters, Judith Jordan, Jerri (Larry) Turner, and Janell (Phil) Doepel, his step-mother, Marjorie (Vanderhorst) Jordan and eight step brothers & sisters, Dick Vanderhorst, Susan (Bill) Stevens, Karen (Jim) Jordan, Bernie, John, Amy Dziedzic, Beth, and Lynn Specht, his mother in law, Helen Mattes, sister-in-law, Linda (Tim) Porter and his nieces, Tammy(Dean) Kearby, Robyn Porter, Michelle(Roger “J”) Newton, Alexis and Katie Jordan and his nephews, Andrew and Daniel Harrison and many more relatives, family, and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Helen Catholic Church, 5100 Burkhardt Rd. on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 11 AM. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery following the Mass.
