OBITUARY
Anthony George Osterloh
September 27, 1926 – January 15, 2022

IN THE CARE OF
Tobias Funeral Home - Far Hills Chapel
Anthony George Osterloh was born on Monday, September 27th, 1926 in Dayton Ohio. He departed this life on Saturday, January 15th, 2022.
Affectionately known as “Bopple” he was loved by his family and friends, touching every life he encountered with his stories, kindness, and at times his “endearing potty mouth”. Anthony was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Elizabeth Osterloh, and sisters Marie Bertke and Delores Flynn.
He leaves to cherish his legacy and memory, his wife Julia Osterloh; his daughter Beverly Yara; two granddaughters Jennifer Williams (Kenji) and Angela Schicker (Andrew); five great-grandchildren Kason Williams; Kaz Williams; Jersey Williams; Owen Schicker; and Evan Schicker; and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Anthony graduated high school from Chaminade in Dayton and then proudly served his country in the Army Air Corps and was a World War 2 veteran. He worked for National Cash Register and then went onto become a realtor for Raintree and Colonial Hill up until he was in his 80s. He will be deeply missed by anybody who knew him. He absolutely loved watching his twin great-grandsons play baseball and his great-granddaughter play basketball and would argue he was their biggest fan!
A service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests sending donations to SICSA, in memory of Anthony Osterloh. Condolences and fond memories may be sent in Anthony’s name to www.tobiasfuneralhome.com
