Dear Larry
I was so terribly sorry to learn of Barb's passing while on vacation in Colorado. Barbara was a wonderful secretary & person. She will always be remembered.  Will contact U upon my return to Dayton.

Barb was a fun person to work with.  She was always friendly and upbeat.
My wife Jean and I both worked in DP&L's G & E building at the time Barb was there.  Very sorry to hear this news, she was a wonderful lady.

I very saddend to hear about Barb.  I worked eith Barb i  Engineering Services at DP&L.  Barb and I worked to 7 PM on a special project for our Supervisors.  You have my sympathy Larry and family.                 Marge Sebastian

While Barbara was my patient in the James CA Hospital at OSU, she helped me many days with her great sense of humor and great smile.  She was a hard blood/IV stick but I was the one that could generally get the test/IV.  I hated sticking her but she always wanted me to do it.  She would watch our favorite soap opera and fill me in on the happenings.  She would have Larry give me her Soap Operal Digest when she was finished with them.  I called her after she went home and she was on my mind often.  Ironically, I was at Lake Erie on Aug. 30th and met two ladies from Tipp City on Aug. 31st.  I told them I had a friend there and needed to call and go see her.  She didn't want me to come when she started the last drug because of the possible side-effects and I agreed to wait.  I checked emails today, Sept. 4th to see a reply to an email I sent her.  It was from her daughter informing me she had passed.  I will always remember our friendship and my sympathy goes out to the family and especially to Larry.  He was one of the most dedicated husbands I saw  while working at the James. I worked for many years with Barbara at DP&L.  She had a wonderful personality, "perky" with a good sense of humor and she kept the office a "fun" place to work no matter how busy we were.  She often talked of her family and it was very evident that she loved her husband Larry and their children and grandchildren very much.  
Just last week, I received a photo of our department employees from a lady that worked with us for only about five years.  She now lives in Ithaca NY but has not forgotten about us.  The photo was taken back around the time that Barbara and Larry got married and she thought that it was taken at a shower for Barbara's upcoming wedding. Seeing it caused my mind to be on Barbara wondering how she was doing.  So sad and ironic to now know that she is no longer with us.  She will always be remembered as a positive person and good friend to all of us at DP&L.

My sympathy and thoughts are with her family at this time of grief.
