Barbara Anne Baldwin was born on June 30, 1937, in Appleton, WI to George and Barbara Baldwin. She grew up in Neenah, WI and later attended Barat College in Lake Forest, IL. A devout Catholic, she dedicated her life to her family, her faith, and charitable organizations, including serving as President of Christ Child Society.
Barbara was known for her kindness, strength, humor, generosity, gourmet cooking, and –above all, her deep love for her family and friends. She brought laughter into every room and cherished time spent golfing, playing bridge, and sharing Christian Fellowship.
Barbara Baldwin Neroni is survived by Barbara (Neroni) Murphy, Mike Neroni, Mark Neroni, Tim Neroni; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, three siblings, and countless friends who will carry forward her love and legacy. She was preceded in death by her husband Peter J Neroni, parents George Nicholas Baldwin and Barbara Schmidt Baldwin; and brothers Billy Baldwin and Tony Baldwin.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Tobias Funeral Home, 5471 Far Hills Ave, Dayton, OH 45429. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 11 a.m. at St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4600 Ackerman Blvd, Dayton, OH 45429. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Women’s Care Center of Cincinnati ( www.supportwomenscarecenter.org ) or the Christ Child Society of Dayton, Inc. ( www.christchildsocietyofdayton.org ) in her honor.
Her life was a gift to all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
