Newton, Barbara A., 83, of Beavercreek, passed away Monday, April 11, 2016 at Trinity Community. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Miller, James Gore, and Richard Newton; sister Mary Lou Wachter. Survived by her children Lisa Miller and wife Kirstie McKenzie of Blacklick, Ohio, Doug Miller of Kettering; sister Dorothy Conn Schwartzkopf of Napolean, Ohio; grandchildren Katherine Miller, Elaine Martin, Joshua Miller and Alia Miller; numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Barbara was a founding member of the Church of the Ascension; she loved to play bridge and golf. Funeral service will be 10 AM Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the Church of the Ascension, 2025 Woodman Dr. Interment Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 9-10 AM Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Miami Valley, 46 N. Detroit St, Suite B, Xenia, Ohio 45385 or the Church of the Ascension in her memory.
