Barbara Lee Osborne

Barbara Lee Osborne, age 80, of South Charleston, Ohio passed away at Grandview Hospital on Friday, October 21, 2022. Barbara was born March 10, 1942 in Dayton Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents Elmon Leroy and Doris Loraine (Kiley) Shoemaker, loving husband James Donald Osborne, and infant son Malcom Travis Osborne.

Barbara is survived by her children; Maleah (Jermane) Miller, Christopher Osborne, and Towna Casey, grandchildren; Christopher Osborne, Brian Troutman, Jera Miller, Libiya Miller, Leanne Troutman, Winsley Leonce, Legend Brown, Juliet Ellies, great-grandchildren; Christopher Osborne, Liam Soto, and baby girl Soto to be born, sisters; Sharlene Farmer, Teresa Kiley, Patty Hawkins, Olive Kiley, Sharon Allen, Jeannie Phillips, and Gale Shoemaker, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

Barbara grew up on a farm in Preble County, where she spent a lot of time with her Aunt and Uncle. She attended Twin Valley South and graduated in 1960. Barbara from an early age, could always be found helping out with the babies or young children. For many years she was a foster parent and blessed those children with unconditional love. Barbara loved to sing and had a beautiful voice, she often sang at weddings, funerals and other special occasions. She enjoyed playing Rook and Yahtzee and was a strong supporter to all of her family. She was the Best of the Best. Barbara will be dearly missed by many.

Visitation will be held 11:00AM to 1:00PM with Funeral Services at 1:00PM at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Beavercreek Chapel. Burial to follow at Vale Cemetery in Springfield, Ohio.
