Barbara Ann Severson

SEVERSON, Barbara Ann, age 82, of Kettering passed away Friday, December 25, 2015, at Hospice of Dayton. She was born on December 29, 1932 in Dayton to the late James C. and Birdella J. Beard. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 39 years Roger S. Severson; a brother, Dr. James Beard, sister, Phyllis Clingman ; and Jean (Severson) Yeager, sister-in-law. She is survived by her son, Brent Severson; a daughter Lisa (Richard) Rusak; and a grandson, Alex Rusak. Barbara was a 1951 graduate of Wilbur Wright High School and a member of Corinth Presbyterian Church, where she retired as the church organist. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 31 at the Corinth Presbyterian Church, 4269 Corinth Blvd., Dayton, Ohio 45410, with the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Dr. Herbie Miller officiating. Burial Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery.
