MOON, Betty L. nee Heavilin, age 93, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Leonard W. Moon, in October of 1987; her sister, Virginia McCloskey. She is survived by Nephew Dennis L. (Jean Scarlet) McCloskey; Great-Nephew Matthew L. (Veronica) McCloskey and their 2 children; Godson, Rick Norris; and Special friends, Dora Quantz and June Brandenburg. Betty was a member of the Belmont United Methodist Church since 1934, and a graduate of Steele High School class of 1939. She had been employed at Standard Register where she met her husband. Funeral services will be held at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME- Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet at Fauver, on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 2:00pm with Pastor Coleman officiating. Family and friends may call on the funeral home from 1:00pm until the time of services. Burial will take place at Willow View Cemetery.
