She is also survived by six grandchildren: Jennifer Phillips, Emily Phillips, Ronald Phillips, Julie Harless, Jamie Johnson, Jessica Phillips and eleven great grandchildren: Jackson, Ella, Seth, Blaine, Olivia, Anna, Eli, Emmry, Ayden, Lila, and Quinn. The family expresses its gratitude to the staff of Hospice of Dayton, Nurse Jackie and Nurse Dana. A very special thank you to the HomeInstead staff and to Betty’s primary caregiver, Sandra Hilty, who cared for Betty with compassion and grace for nearly two years. A private funeral was held at Tobias Funeral Home, Far Hill’s Chapel, with interment at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
