Beverly (Bev) J. (Johnson) Bundy passed from this earthly life into her eternal home in heaven on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at Patriot Ridge Community nursing home in Fairborn, Oh. following a long illness. She was born on April 11, 1947 in Muncie, Indiana the daughter of Lester and Christina Johnson. Beverly was a dedicated homemaker, faithfully ministering to her husband of 54 years Robert (Mike) Bundy and her two sons, Michael and Jeffery, as well as her cherished four grandchildren, Tanner, Peyton, Cohen, and Eli. Beverly was a longtime member of Muncie Glad Tidings church, and also nine other churches as she relocated with her husband. In 2009 her and her husband became pastors of Westside Worship Center in Elkhart, IN, where they ministered side by side for six years. Beverly was an accomplished potter and she applied the Word of God to the process the clay goes through to become a vessel of honor, and she traveled throughout the Midwest teaching how “God Never Throws The Clay Away”. She co-authored a book titled “Parables from the Potter” with her husband. Beverly is survived by her husband Mike, Huber Heights, OH, son, Michel (Dion) Bundy, Ft. Collins, CO; son Jeffery (Renice) Bundy, Fairborn, OH; sister, Brinda (Rocky) Bundy, Bargersville, IN; sister, Julie Johnson, Albany, KY; brother Wesley; sister Heather Johnson, KY; granddaughters, Tanner, Peyton; grandsons, Cohen, and Eli, as well several nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm. on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Muncie Glad Tidings church, 3001 S. Burlington Dr., Muncie, IN. with Rev. Steve Bundy officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
