Brandon Michael Ashburn, age 37 of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 2, 2016. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents. He is survived by two sons: Domenic and Kaeden Ashburn, both at home. He is survived by his parents, Mike and Lucy Ashburn, sister, Somer (Ben) Weber, and grandparents, Robert and Patricia Shadowens, aunt, Robin Shadowens of West Carrollton, uncle, William Shadowens of TN, aunt Lori Perriman (Greg) of West Carrollton and Uncle Robert Shadowens III (Tracy) of Huber Heights, and numerous cousins. Brandon attended Withrow High School and was a graduate of ICB. He was a gifted artist and known for his creativity as a poet and songwriter. He worked as a cook in many local restaurants. Friends may call at the West Carrollton Nazarene Church, 550 S. Elm St. West Carrollton, OH 45449 on Friday evening, May 6, 2016 from 4-7 PM. Pastor Bryan Heil will officiate a funeral service at 7 PM Friday. Disposition will be held privately.
