On Tuesday night, Oct 9, 2018, Brian Patrick Howley, aka “Obie,” passed away following an acute illness. Brian joined his loving parents Ruth and Jack Howley and is survived by his two sons; Shane and Travis, their mother Diana, as well as his older siblings; Monica, Mark, and Kevin. Also surviving Brian are many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and a great many brothers from the Dayton Fire Department, who all held him in high regard. Brian was a skilled hunter, angler and outdoorsman. He was a seasoned traveler and an excellent cook. Brian was also a talented and brave leader among fireman. Above all, he was an exceptional father and a warm friend. Obie will be missed deeply forever by everyone who knew him. Brian’s wake will be held on Sunday, Nov 4, 2018, at the Dayton Firefighters Activity Center, 3616 Needmore Rd in Dayton, from 12 noon to 6 pm.
