Macy, Carol Jean, age 91, passed away September 2, 2016 in Dayton, OH. She was a devoted wife and mother who lived a life of compassion and service to others, and was a longtime member of the Plainfield (Indiana) Christian Church. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Stella and Clayton Cash; her husband of 45 years, Nathaniel Macy; and by her brothers, Arthur and Alva Cash. She is survived by daughters, Martha (Rodney) Darrah and Lynn (Ted) Aseltine; sisters-in-law, Imogene Cash and Martha Cash; grandchildren, Jason (Sara) Darrah, Amanda (Arch) Grieve, David Aseltine and Mark Aseltine; great grandsons, Mason and Carter Darrah. Graveside services will be held Tuesday September 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Cloverdale Cemetery in Cloverdale, IN.
