MARKOWSKI, Carroll F. age 92, of Dayton, Ohio passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. Carroll is survived by his children, sons Michael (Wanda) Markowski, Paul (Libba) Markowski, daughter Mary (Dr. Steve) Harbour, grandchildren Ann and David, niece Kathleen, and many other grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and loving wife Marjorie A. Markowski of 61 years. Carroll graduated in 1940 from Chaminade High School, he was also a WWII veteran of the Army Air Corps, he attended the University of Dayton for 2 years, was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for 60 years, and charter member (president) of the Free Spirits. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Tuesday January 13, 2015 at 10:30 am. Visitation will be held at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME- BELMONT CHAPEL, 648 Watervliet Ave. Dayton, on Monday January 12, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or Hospice of Dayton in Carroll’s memory.
