WASMUTH, Casey Robert, 50 of Columbus, Ohio, June 4, 2018 at his residence. He was born October 6, 1967, in Kettering, Ohio. Casey is survived by his father Michael R Wasmuth, mother Marty Wasmuth, sisters; Carla Goings and Danielle Forgie, nieces; Leslie and Stephanie Wasmuth, and nephews; Kenneth Goings and Timmy Forgie. Most important of all Casey's adopted family of Mark, Marla, and beloved son Stephen Riggle. After high school Casey spent several years in the medical field, followed by 17 year career at Nationwide Financial in Columbus, most recently embarking upon a new chapter of his life at JP Morgan Chase. But his Greatest gift and contribution was his call to care for those he loved. He tirelessly gave his time to care for the elders in his life, be it Juanita, Aunt Geri, or his beloved Grandma Betty. My connection and memories with Casey span more than 30 years so picking one is too difficult. Our friendship gave me the freedom to learn who I was and just be me around him... the lollipop girl and speaker dancing fool the club or the militant organizer at Disney or a B-day party. I love that crazy, multifaceted, kind, snarky, gentleman and miss him terribly aleady. There is a hole in my heart.

Casey would pick up my son Trace with Stephen with him and take them to sky zone or laser quest or magic castle and I always thought that was so kind of Casey. Trace will always remember Casey and remember those fun times. I have prayed for Casey and will continue to pray for him and all of his beloved loved ones.

I am without words and with enormous sorrow in learning about Casey's passing. From the first time we met he treated me as a long lost friend, always greeting me with a smile or a snarky comment. He made work life fun and was a ray of sunshine in a rather dull world. I will miss him dearly. My heart goes out to everyone that is filled with sorrow and is missing Casey.

It is with sadness that I receive the news of Casey’s passing. It is with joy that I was bl essed to have known him even for a brief time. Casey and our mutual friend Brad visited me in March in Florida. Now they are both gone. My heart is full of sorrow and puzzlement. Prayers to his family and friends. Love each other!!
