

Blankenbeckler, Cecil M., on October 19, 2013, Cecil went home to be with the Lord. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was married 67 years to his high school sweetheart, Kitty. He served as a Marine during WWII at the battle of Iwo Jima. After many years with BG Danis Construction Company, he started his own contracting company building many churches, nursing homes and high rises in this city. He was a longtime member of Community United Methodist Church and now is a member of Patterson Park Church. He had lots of friends and loved to have fun. He was a kind hearted man, constantly helping anyone in need. He was a loving father, supportive father-in-law and grandpa to those that mean so much to him. He is preceded in death by his brother James Blankenbeckler and sister Lillian Hobbs. He is survived by his wife, Kitty; daughters and sons-in-law Nancy and Edward Wimsatt of Bellbrook, Lisa and Chris Hubbard of Xenia; grandchildren Christopher Wimsatt and wife Nicole, Tyler Moorehead and Ryan Hubbard; great grandchildren Braden and Caroline Wimsatt. Cecil’s homecoming will be 11 AM Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd at Grange Hall Rd. Pastor Dan Sietman officiating. Entombment Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9-11 AM Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in his memory.
