Rader (Abney), Celia Gay age 89 of Beavercreek passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2026. Celia was born to the late Herbert and Hazel Abney. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jewel Rader, son Stevie Rader, brothers Virgil Abney, Toad (Ova) Abney, Chester Abney, Jerry Abney and Ronald Abney and sisters, Fannie Maggard, Dovie Laughhunn, and Mallie Mae Hardin. Celia was a devoted Mother, to her kids and everyone else’s kids also. She loved children, all children. Everyone knew where their kids were, because Celia welcomed them all. She worked at Avis Rent a Car and retired from there in 1999. Celia was a member of the Dayton Angler’s Club. She is survived by her daughters, Judy (Jim) McCartney of Centerville, Brenda (Jeff) Boyd of Florida, Peggy (Steve) Brown of Fairborn and Tina (Tim) Sersen of Wisconsin and her son, Danny Rader of Dayton; 8 grandchildren, Chris McCarntey, Kyle (Katie) McCartney, Chad Schneider, Jessica (Brian) Broyles, Tony (Ashley) Rigney, Cole Sersen, Chelsea (Cory) Duchein and Daniel Rader; and 11 great grandchildren, Gabby Petticrew, Kinsley McCartney, Alex Shaver, Charlee Christa, Nora & Letty Broyles, Anna, Allie & Mason Rigney and Logan & Maddie Duchein. A visitation will be held from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2026 at Tobias Funeral Home in Beavercreek. Services will be held on Monday, September, 21, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Warren F. Toler Funeral Home in Irvine, KY with family receiving friends from Noon to 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow services at the West Irvine Cemetery.
