Chalmer Rudd

RUDD, Chalmer, age 80 of Dayton, passed away on Monday, April 09, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Rudd; parents, James Milton and Mattie Lou (Walters) Rudd; son, Harold Rudd; granddaughter, Donna Jean Rudd and brothers, Paul and Ollie Rudd. He is survived by his sons, Terry (Peggy) Rudd, Kevin Rudd, Kyle (Ann) Rudd, Tony Rudd; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Alberta Wamsley, Armina Winn, Belle (Jim) Hoop, Juanita Jones and sisters in-law, Ann Rudd and Mary Rudd. Chalmer retired after 38 years at Duriron and was a Corporal in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 13, 2012 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. with interment to follow in Valley View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until the time of service on Friday, April 13.
