Charles Lee Boorman

Charles Lee Boorman, 86, of Brandenburg, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Brandenburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Charles was born April 27, 1928 in Middletown, OH to the late Leland and Jeanette Halsey Boorman. Charles served with honor in the US Army during the Korean War; he was a successful manager and salesman at Doe Valley in Brandenburg, KY and was a wonderful husband to his wife Juanita. His sisters, Margaret St. John, Lillian Lowe and Mildred Faulkner preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Juanita Boorman of Brandenburg, KY, children, Carolyn Sue Bronger and Roy Dennis Cornett both of Louisville, KY, brothers, John (Janice) Boorman of Beavercreek, OH and Tom Boorman of Tucson, AZ, 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 11:30 am from the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. with Rev. Curtis Johnson officiating and with burial to follow in Valley View Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 14 from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
