Fearing, Charles Edward “Chuck” age 83 of Dayton passed away Sunday October 14, 2018 at Harmony Health Care in Xenia, Ohio. Chuck was preceded in death by his wife Judy, his parents William and Davetta , a sister Betty Adams , a step-brother Darrell Fearing and a grandson Jacob Woodall. He is survived by his three children, Terry Boehmer (Don), Traci Fearing, and Jesse Fearing; step-mother, Mel Vaught; grandchildren, Adam Fearing, Sam Fearing, Rebekha Cassel, and Elizabeth Boehmer; great-grandchildren, Kellen Boehmer, Wyatt Rodriguez, and Gunner Rodriguez. Chuck is also survived by his dear friend and companion Barb Coleman. He was a graduate of Stivers High School, served in the US Army and later served as a City of Dayton Police Officer. He was the owner of the Eastown Gourmet Shop and was very involved in coaching baseball for many years at Belmont Park. Chuck was a member of Alpha Lodge #729 F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, and Antioch Shrine. Later in life Chuck became an employee of Tobias Funeral Home. Funeral Service 11 am Saturday October 20, 2018 at the Tobias Funeral Home Belmont Chapel 648 Watervliet Ave at Fauver Ave. Pastor Don Payne officiating. Entombment in Miami Valley Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Friends may call from 9 am until service time at 11 am Saturday at the funeral home.
