Charles Young Kidwell III

Charles Young Kidwell, III, age 32, of Oakwood, Ohio, died on May 24, 2026. He is survived by his parents, Charles Y. Kidwell, Jr, and Carol A. Kidwell, along with his sister Mary N. Kidwell, age 25, a recent graduate of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. Predeceasing Charles in death are his grandparents, Charles Y. Kidwell, Sr., Marianne M. Kidwell, Robert A. Stefanich, and Jeanne L. Stefanich. Charles graduated from Oakwood High School in 2015. For those who knew Charles, he was one of the kindest and most patient people you would ever meet. He enjoyed listening to music, watching old Turner Classic Movies, bowling on Saturdays, and vacations to Hilton Head with his family and their evening walk on the beach right before sunset. He was an avid fan of The Ohio State University football team and loved to watch games with his Uncle Harry. He also enjoyed watching the University of Dayton basketball games. The family requests contributions be made to the Dayton Children’s Hospital Foundation in his name in lieu of flowers. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in downtown Dayton.
