

Charles Albert Stepan, Jr, age 73 of Beavercreek, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Soin Medical Center. He was preceded in death by: his, mother: Vi Stepan (Banzhaff), father: Charles Albert Stepan, Sr., infant daughter: Angel Stepan, and an infant brother, as well as his beloved dogs, Tippy and Muffie. He is survived by: wonderful wife of 49 years Connie (Iman) Stepan, wonderful and devoted daughter: Angie (Scott) Oborne, devoted niece, Jennifer Brown, sister-in-law Susie Wells, and sister: Mary Jo (Eric) Orkild. His grandchildren also survive him: Brian, Miranda (Jon), Michael (Jessica), Kayleigh, CJ, Shayna, Christina, Xavier and Taylor, as do his great grandchildren: Carson, Cayden, Katelynn, Jon, Noah and Delaney (Laney Bug), his nephews: Patrick (Jessica), Tom, and nieces: Ann, Jan, Debbie, Margaret and Jennifer, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews and his beloved dogs, Christie and Holly, and grand-dogs Beejers, Mya, Daisy and Winter. Charlie was born in Tucson, Arizona and moved with his family to Phoenix. He settled in Ohio in 1967. He was a well-known and respected Auto Body Repairman in the Dayton area until he was forced to medically retire in 1989. He volunteered on the Beavercreek Fire Department at Station #3 from 1975 until 1978. In his early years he enjoyed bowling, hunting, and fishing with Connie, target shooting and camping. Charlie never knew a stranger and to know him was to love him. He loved animals, children, watching westerns, eating and the Lord. He enjoyed laughing and making other people laugh, singing and dancing. Our world will be a little colder without his warm smile to brighten our days and carry us through. Friends may call at the Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel on Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 2-4 PM. Funeral Sevices will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 12, 2016 at 12 PM with Pastor Don Payne officiating. Disposition will be held privately at the family’s request.
