I will not be able to be at the service but I will always remember Chuck's cheerful being and his love of music. Since we are contemporaries in age we enjoyed sitting together at Rotary and discussing our families, sports and the events of the times.

We simply loved Chuck and cherished every time we met as Sherwoods singing at Cornell and then around the country in recent years. We were basses together and I will miss him standing right next to me as we sing in the future. What a voice! I also remember him as a Cornell fraternity brother and all through the following years he kept that same sense of solid friendship that endeared him to all of us who knew him. We will miss him, but we also are so lucky to have Joyce in our lives going forward.

With love,
