Charlotte Pierce Gordon

Charlotte P. Gordon, age 98, passed away at Sycamore Glen nursing home on Thursday, July 2nd, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, John H. Gordon Sr., parents, William S. and Cora M. (Lear) Osborn, sisters, Goldie Pierce, Louella Flieg, Catherine Osborn, Lily Osborn, and Mary Osborn, and brothers, John, Dave, Sam and Woody Osborn. Charlotte is survived by her son, John Gordon Jr., daughter, Melsina (Wayne) Coyle, three grandchildren, Dawn Brewbaker, Dwayne (Kimberly) Coyle and Deanna (David) Passwaters, four great-grandchildren, Destiny Coyle, Cameron Coyle, Conner Coyle and Ivy Passwaters, numerous nieces and nephews and special family friend Barbara Stafford. Charlotte worked many years with The Child Evangelism Fellowship and was a dedicated member of The First Baptist Church of Kettering. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, July 8th, 2015 at The First Baptist Church of Miamisburg, 323 N 11th St, Miamisburg, OH 45342 with Pastor Steven Spurgeon officiating. Friends may call between 10:00 am until the time of service on Wednesday. Interment will take place at Miami Cemetery, 6379 Corwin Ave., Waynesville, OH 45068. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in Charlotte’s memory to The Child Evangelism Fellowship of Ohio, 3626 North Main Street, Dayton, OH 45405.
