Chris I miss you more and more each day! I love you sssoooo much so many emotions surround me sadness fear anger guilt I want to tell you the most important is happiness knowing your in GODS loving arms and I will see you again someday! Words can't express how much you are missed and the impact that you had on my life. I didn't know you for very long but from the few years that I did know you it was a true blessing. You are a great man with many positive traits, thank you for the great memories, your amount of faith and love, and showing how important family is. We love you and miss you!

I worked with Chris while at Northrop Grumman.  He always challenged me to be better.  He was great to collaborate with and always had an interesting way to solve the problem presented. Not only was he a teacher but a student as well.  He was constantly seeking knowledge and was happy doing so.  His love of learning was behind his love for the Lord and his family.  Our loss is heaven's gain.  We will miss him, but have learned so much from him.  I send my prayers to his family.

Another co-worker of Chris (ARA), I'm saddened at his passing. He expressed much love for his family always. And, I'm sorry for this loss, and my prayers are with you all.

While working with Chris on various learning projects from 2011-2012, I had the pleasure of hearing him speak passionately about the design of meaningful and engaging online learning environments. But at the end of our meetings we would often discuss news of our families... and that's when I found him most impassioned. My deepest condolences to the family.

It was a great honor to be friends with Chris for a number of years.  He was instrumental in the development of many Troy Christian wrestlers, including my son Zach, both from a physical and, more importantly, a spiritual sense.  We will miss him very much but look forward to seeing him again.

I can only express my thoughts in a poem - Chris, you were my mentor and a true friend to me. 

A Quietness in Our Hearts

A quietness reached out when we heard the news
Of a dear friend leaving us for distant places.

You have my sincere condolences, I was shocked to hear of Chris's passing.  I remember Chris from high school where he had a great sense of humor and treated his classmates well.  You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I met Chris at TASC and we served together at Beavercreek Assembly of God.  What a wonderful man, such great memories I have of times shared as I am certain all of you have as well.

I always remember you being such a funny guy and one of the coolest dads a girl could have. I will keep the memories I have of you as a reminder of what a great person you were. My condolences to your beautiful family in this sad time.

I worked with Chris at ARA, he was a hard working, very kind man. I know he will be greatly received and that his family now has an angel watching over them. I know he loved his family very much and he was very proud of all of them as he spoke of them often. He will be greatly missed!

I did not have the pleasure of knowing Chris as well as many of my DK family, but I did get the pleasure of talking to him a couple of times. Chris was a true man of God and was loved by many. Coach, words cannot express how much you have meant to our family. As coach, you not only instructed our wrestlers and sons but advised, helped and prayed through difficult times and of course many victories off the mat. Thank you Coach!

I've known Chris since 2000.  We worked together, played golf, went to OSU football games, but most importantly we prayed together during our weekly Men's Bible Study (Hunks).  Chris inspired those around him to grow in their faith.  I miss you Chris but I will see you again.

I've been watching this page for the past couple of days and found a friend of Chris' is actually a co-worker...what a small world. But the other thing is every time I come to this page a song keeps coming to mind..some will know it...We love(d) you with the love of Jesus, we love(d) you with the love of the Lord, We see(saw)in you what He wants us to, and we love you with the love of the Lord. And it fades into the distance.  Praying for strength and rejoicing hearts.

Thinking of times of laughter and fun that I shared with you all - especially that weekend spent at your place in Indy many years ago. Chris was a special brother in Jesus and I will miss him till we meet again.

I only knew Chris for a short time. But am certain without a doubt, He heard the words we all want to hear WELL DONE MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT. He was a true example of Jesus and I am so very blessed to have met him. Thank you God for Chris and the example he set , not only for his family, but for everyone who had the privilege to meet him.

Holidays & family gatherings will not be the same without you... You were such an inspiration to me, you never wavered in your faith. I miss you so much but I know you're in a wonderful place and I look forward to seeing you again!

I only knew Chris for about a year but in that short time I came to appreciate him in so many ways. He has a real knack for fooling people with a straight face. (I think he got me three or four times last October at Koinonia). He has a wonderful testimony, full of thankfulness, hope, and joy. He is a lover of the truth. Most of all, I really love his peaceful nature. Being around Chris put me at ease and calmed my spirit during a very difficult time in my life. I hope you noticed that I spoke of my friend in present tense. Looking forward to seeing you brother.

It's still hard for me to believe that my brother is gone.  I know how much he loved his wife, children and grandchildren and he truly loved the Lord with all of his heart, mind and strength.  I will always miss you but look forward to seeing you again someday soon I hope!

Chris was an amazing teacher, mentor, colleague, and close friend. I'm grateful for the work we accomplished, the papers we wrote together, the presentations we gave around the world to those who were eager to learn about the advancements in online learning, and most importantly, the many Ohio State football games we saw. His unwavering dedication, humble brilliance, and consistent guidance will keep with me for a lifetime. No matter what we were doing or where we traveled, Chris always spoke about the deep love he had for his family and God. Thank you Chris for coming into our lives. You made a difference.

Soooo sorry for your loss.  I worked with Chris for about three years, and he was always so nice and kind.  He was a wonderful human being.  I traveled to Germany with him, and we had a great time.
