Christopher Bryon Winningham

Chris was born on January 17, 1966 in Dayton, Ohio. He graduated from Belmont High School in 1984. He had a love for baseball and coached for 30 years. Ending his coaching career at FKAL in Kettering coaching his grandchildren.

Chris was a long-time employee of Progressive Printers.

He is preceded in death by his parents Hooper and Betty Winningham, brother Michael, sister Kathy and nephews Ricky and Michael Winningham.

He is survived by his Wife, Amy Winningham; his children Heather Moon and Matt Kirkland, Bryon Winningham, Lauren and Nate Wiley, Andrew Lewis, and Alex Lewis; his grandchildren; Kynzie, Bryon, Carson, Kylee, Harper, Braxton and Parker; brothers Ricky (Rhonda), Greg and Pierre; sister-in-law Sharon (Jimmy) Whiting; nieces and nephews Josh and Kristen Winningham, and Sarah Winningham.

Chris spent his time enjoying baseball, working in the yard, playing cards and trips to the casino. He was happiest when surrounded by family. Spending time with his grandchildren was the highlight of his days.

Family will receive visitors from 11am-1pm on Tuesday September 28, 2021 at Tobias Funeral Home at 5471 Far Hills Ave, Dayton, OH 45429. Pastor Mark McVey will officiate a service at 1pm followed by a graveside service. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Valley View Renegades Baseball Team through Venmo @ VV_Renegades. This is where Chris last coached and watched his grandsons play baseball.
