With deepest sadness to learn the passing of Clarence.  May Jesus wraps his arms around you all and give you peace and comfort. Love and prayers to all.

On behalf of The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, I'd like to extend condolences to the family of Clarence Renk. Clarence provided excellent leadership for the OARDC Western Agricultural Research Station which under his mentorship became the flagship site for agronomic crops research and extension programming.  His contributions over his career contributed greatly to success of the Ohio State faculty, staff and students he interacted with.  I worked with Clarence as a student, peer manager and later his supervisor until he retired.  He was a thoughtful colleague and friend to many he interacted with. Heart-felt sympathy to Clarence's family and friends.

It was a pleasure to work with Clarence and a privilege to know him. Condolences to his family and friends.

As a young Marianist brother, Clarence was a regular  visitor to our farm. He and his colleagues lent their expertise and hours of hard manual labor to help our family make it on the farm. We were 10 kids and two city kid parents and would have had no chance without them.

Uncle Bud will be missed by us all.  My heart goes out to you.  We were all so lucky to have him in our lives and I am grateful to have been his niece. He will be in good company in heaven with Dad, Ma and PapPap, Uncle Jack, and Chris.

Dear Zach (and family), I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father.  By looking at the pictures on this page....it looks like there was a lot of love and good times!  That sure is the right way to live a life!  I'm so sorry for your loss and my family sends their deepest condolences to you and yours.  I know how sad and crushing a loss like this is, as I lost my own father last year.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers.  I pray for comfort and understanding, I pray for peace to all of your hearts and I pray for great resolve in all of you.  If you need a thing, just let me know.  God Bless!
