Connie Darlene Burger (Moore) took her last breath, surrounded by the love and embrace of her family, December 25, 2025. She was born in Beavercreek, Ohio, and lived a life defined by devotion, love, and selflessness.
Connie was a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and cherished “Memaw.” Her family was always her priority, and she found her greatest joy in caring for them, supporting them, and making sure they felt deeply loved. To know Connie was to know warmth, generosity, and a heart that gave without limit.
She was preceded in death by many loved ones, including her beloved granddaughter, Elizabeth Manning, and most recently her husband of 54 years, Stephen Burger. Their loss was deeply felt, yet Connie carried her love for them always.
In her later years, Connie bravely faced the challenges of dementia, gradually losing parts of herself that her family knew so well. Even then, her loving spirit remained evident to those closest to her. We take comfort in knowing that she has now been embraced by the Lord and is restored—whole, at peace, and truly her best self.
Connie’s legacy lives on in the family she devoted her life to and in the countless ways she showed others how deeply they were loved.
A memorial is planned for a later date.
