

Lawler, Connie, age 78 a longtime resident of Kettering, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Lela (Fink) Malott, husband Richard, son Christopher, brothers Ralph and Russ and sisters Donna (Kronauge) and Lynn.
She is survived by grandchildren in Colorado, one brother and two sisters, along with dozens of nieces, nephews and friends.
Connie was born in Dayton, OH on September 22, 1948. She graduated in 1966 from Beavercreek High School. After high school she briefly moved to California for business before settling for years in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. While in Florida she met Richard. They were married on September 24, 1982 in Broward Co, Sunrise, Florida. After many years, she returned to Ohio and settled in Kettering, where she out lived her remaining years.
Connie enjoyed knitting and sewing. She loved her cats and relied on them for comfort and the unconditional love they provided. She was also a green thumb at gardening and earned Master Gardener status after she retired from her work as a CAD designer.
Connie asked that her remains be cremated. A private gathering will be held at a future date.
