Craig Patrick

Craig Patrick, age 74, of Washington Township, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. Craig is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Juanita Patrick and brother, Lee Patrick. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Roxann Patrick; sons: Brian Patrick, and Shawn Mitchell; Brother: Bill Patrick; Sisters: Deann Halsey and Linda Prather; Niece, Megan Sortman; and brother from another mother, Jim Gillespie. Craig began his career as a typographer and moved up in his IT career and became the Director of IT at the Modern College of Design. Craig was very good at his job and was loved by all his students and freelance customers. Roxann lovingly called him a "geek with social skills”.

Craig loved everything that had to do with nature. In his early years, he enjoyed hunting, and he and Roxann loved to fish. They had a cabin on Lake Plantagenet, in Northwest MN, and traveled there every year for 25 years. Craig was an animal lover and had a special bond with dogs. He and Roxann rescued many kitties over the years and had treasured pet dogs who were well-loved members of their family. Craig loved working on cars, and he and Shawn would tear them apart and fix them up. Shawn attributes Craig as the inspiration for his mechanical engineering career because of all Craig taught him growing up. Craig was a big music lover, and he enjoyed playing the guitar. He was also very witty and had a great sense of humor. Craig kept everyone around him in stitches, especially when he and Jim were together. A visitation will be held at Anderson Funeral Home Springboro, located at 40 North Main Street, Springboro, OH 45066, on December 1, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. Following the visitation, a memorial service will take place at the same venue at 2:30 pm. Entombment of ashes will follow the services at Washington Township Cemetery, 68 Maple Ave, Dayton, OH 45459. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or the Lewy Body Dementia Association in Craigs honor.
