Curtis Albert Tennant-Lindstrom, age 56 of Brookville, OH passed away on September 2, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Curt was an extraordinary son, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He was one of the most loving and selfless men who could make a friend everywhere he went. Curt touched the lives of so many with his fun loving spirit and his optimism. Our gentle giant, with both his physical and mental strength, proved to be a man who was courageous in all situations that life brought his way, including surviving a heart attack and cancer twice.
Summertime was his favorite season for riding his motorcycle on many trips with his wife along with their friends. Curt also enjoyed traveling to the beach and vacationing with family. Fall would be the start of his favorite sports seasons (Cleveland Browns/Ohio State Football/University of Dayton Basketball) that he loved to cheer on with family every weekend. Curt cherished his time with his family, friends (and dogs) making memories that will last a lifetime.
Curt was born in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania on November 10, 1961 to Richard and Patricia Tennant and brother to Dee Ellis (Ed Ellis). Curt was raised with an exceptional work ethic, served as an Aircraft Fueler and Team Leader for 25 years at Emery Worldwide. During his time at Emery he was able to make friends that became life long.
Curt is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 33 years, Karen (Mangold) Lindstrom. Proud Father to daughter Brandy and son-in-law Rob Jones, son Ryan Littman, and daughter Carly Lindstrom (fiancé Scott Bodine). Proud Grandfather to Shelby and Connor Jones. Grandson to Mother and Father in-law Patsy and Kenneth Gore. Uncle to several nieces and nephews. Along, with many extended family members and countless close friends. Curt will live on in every smile and hug of his family.
A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, September 7th from 6:00 to 9:00p.m. (8:00p.m. service) at Tobias Funeral Home - Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Ave, Dayton, OH 45429. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Heart Association and/or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in his memory.
Curt would wish only that you love each other unconditionally, taking advantage of every moment you are able to spend with loved ones while he watches from above and to remember him for his old soul with a desire to live life to the fullest.
