Curtis Lincoln Daugherty

On April 21, 1959, Curt was born in Grundy, Virginia, a son of the late Pearl and James Daugherty. He was also preceded in death by Stepfather Ed Marrs.

Curt is survived by his wife Denise Lane, they shared nearly 20 years together. He will be missed dearly by his sister Judy (Bud) Burgess, brothers; James (Debra) Daugherty and Doug (Debbie) Daugherty, sons; Curtie Daugherty, Matt Daugherty, and Daniel Council, step son; B.J. (Nicole) Oberrecht, step daughter; Johnna Boise, grandchildren; Brayden and Adalyn Oberrecht and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Curt was preceded in death by sister’s Opal Phillips and Ella Daugherty and brother’s Eddie Hurley and Steve Daugherty.

He was an outgoing and fun loving guy who never met a stranger and would always bring a smile to your face. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

A visitation will be held at Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave., on Saturday December 29, 2018 from 1 -3 pm. The funeral service will begin at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
