

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Lynn J. Lake and Mary K. Lake; his sister, Patricia Lake; and his brother-in-law, Bill Prinke.
He is survived by his sons, Timothy Lake of Miamisburg, Ohio, and Nicholas Lake of Kettering, Ohio. He is also survived by his siblings: Mary K. (Bill) Prinke of Bel Air, Maryland; James (Carol) Lake of Davenport, Florida; and William (Gloria) Lake of Wellington, Ohio. Dan is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Dan graduated from Carroll High School in 1969 and went on to earn a Master’s degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He built a distinguished career in high-tech printing, providing advanced printing solutions and consulting services to some of the largest companies in the United States, including Kellogg’s. He was well known and respected within the printing industry for his expertise, professionalism, and willingness to help others solve complex challenges
Outside of his career, Dan enjoyed playing golf and was a devoted dog lover, especially fond of his dog, Duffy. Above all else, he was a devoted father and a kind, generous person who was always willing to help someone in need.
Memorial service arrangements are pending and will be announced at a later date.
