David Kenneth Burgess

BURGESS, David, of Kettering, passed away Sunday, April 17 after a brief illness. A graduate of Fairmont High School, David was born on November 26, 1981. He is preceded in death by grandfathers Kenneth Burgess, Sr. and Edwin Zwiesler. He is survived by parents, Ken and Kathy (Zwiesler) Burgess; sisters Sarah Burgess and Megan Gilley; brother-in-law, Eric Gilley; nephews, Evan and Nathan Gilley; grandmothers, Ann Zwiesler and Martha Burgess; aunts and uncles, Ann and Jack Goebel, Diane and Joe DiGrazia, Jerry and Lou Zwiesler, Nancy and Dave Hanna, Tom and Molly Zwiesler, Mike and Susan Zwiesler, Julie and Randy Molten, Susan Zwiesler; and numerous cousins. He worked at St. Vincent de Paul Hotel and was a participant in MRDD’s social club. An avid fan of movies and music, David will be remembered for his deep laughter and his sense of humor. The family would like to the thank the nurses and doctors at Kettering Medical Center. Visitation will take place at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd. Dayton, OH 45429, on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4500 Ackerman Blvd. Kettering, OH 45429, on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 10:30 am.
