Better late than never. From  George Allan, crestview Fl. Just traced my buddy Dave. Found out he had passed. We had a great experience together. From arriving in the US in 1968. I’m now 84, had a slight stroke, but still able to get around Ph # 8503980095

Daddy seems like a minute ago you were laughing at some silly joke you had told ❤️.. 
I miss you every single day but happy that you are in my heart .. and every time the Robin sits in my garden I know you are still taking care of me! X 

Think of you all the time daddy !  You were my  safe place and I love you very much x 

We may not have been close the last couple of years but the endearing friendship will always remain.I'll always remember our mugs of wine from a box in the refrigerator.Our hearts go out to you Mary Jo and family, Dave will always be with us in spirit.

I smile whenever I think of Uncle David.  He was a lovely man with a big heart.  I never heard him say a bad word about anyone.  It was very exciting as a young child to have an uncle who lived in America.  We always looked forward to his visits to Scotland and to hear what life was like in Dayton.  He was a real party person and always made things go with a swing.  He was one of life's givers and it was always fun spending time in his company. David was my wee brother and I was sorry to hear of his passing.  I hadn't seen him for a few years but I thought about him often.  As a young boy he drove us crazy practicing on his drum kit for hours.  He was a great dancer and I was always jealous that he could jive better than me.  He has taken with him the secret of who broke the "Cherry Boy" so I guess I'll never know!  I cherish the gold sand dollar he made for my 50th Birthday and I wear it on a chain every day.  David was well respected and I was very proud of him.  Mary Jo has been a great wife to David and my thoughts are with her and all the family at this difficult time.  I will miss him - his loving sister Ella.

I have known David since I was a wee lassie in Windygates, Scotland.  We have not been in touch for many years but he was always so kind hearted and always had a smile. My sincere sympathy is for his family. God Bless.

I knew David for many years working for Dr. Laneve in Kettering. We all truly loved David. He was one of the sweetest, kindest men I have ever known. I always loved hearing the accent. He will be missed.
