Dave has given me so reasons to smile. He was the oldest of 3 boys.
His younger son Keith, said to me “my dad is the strongest man I know”.
Dave was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and was given 6 months to live. With his strong faith in God and his positive attitude he lived for 2 more years.
He loved baseball from the time he could swing a bat. He played or coached most of his life. Athletes in action hired him, It was his dream job, he loved working with young man and sharing his love of God
Rest In Peace my dear son.

I first met David on the ball fields. He and I coached together for our boys baseball team probably ten years ago. I very much enjoyed the time spent coaching with David. Later I had the opportunity to work with him on the Legacy/AIA campus. Over past several years I enjoyed being able to hear how God was working in his life and the lives of the boys on the Scouts teams. I will miss him.

I will always remember the goodness of Dave-The kindness-his strong belief in God and his eternal belief that he was in Gods hands and he is!! I hurt and care for his family and friends!
I watched the OS game Saturday but it was hollow as I knew he wasn’t watching! His mother is a wonderful person and can’t think of anything harder than loosing a child- I’m thinking and praying for your healing!
He was so proud of his children and I know there is a hole in their heart that will take a long time to heal- keep making him proud of you!!!- I love all of you!!
