Denise, I'm already missing our music pop quiz sessions. I know you're in a better place, the best of all places actually, but we sure wish you were still with us down here. Time is something definitely taken far too much for granted...

We'll see what we can do on this end to take up the slack, by chatting more often with Mom on the phone. However, I'm quite certain our stories will not be nearly as entertaining! We will keep an eye on Dad, too.

Keira definitely has key elements of her Aunt Dee ingrained in her being - having love for animals, athletics, making people smile/laugh, and most of all food! It's a great thing to see, actually.

You will be missed every day by your family, friends, colleagues, and of course the fur kids.

Mike, Louise, and Keira

Denise, your presence was such a present to us all. You taught us that every day is sunshine and that anything is possible with a positive attitude. You made each person feel uniquely important. Certainly, a gift and one to treasure and practice. I am confident that the Good Lord is helping you plan your next party. You are loved and missed.

When I started at BD I has so many questions and wasn't sure who to ask. Randomly one day you just started messaging these cute funny memes that made my day better. Anytime I needed help you were there, anytime I needed to vent or just a laugh you always knew the right words to say. We talked and texted so many times well...I talked and you listened. I can not even explain how much of an impact you made in my time here at BD.

I miss you.

My prayers are with you, Nate.

I am saddened by this news... I worked with Denise (I called her D-Bo) at MacB, shared lots of laughs, learned lots and took many walks with her around the office. You will be missed Denise and my thoughts are with the family at this tough time.

Denise was an absolute joy to know. Her cheerful personality and hilarious messages kept me going all of the time. Her virtual smile and funny laugh (and pics of her dogs) was a joy. Working with her was a pleasure. I will miss her. My prayers go out to her family!!

Denise, I’m heartbroken that you left to be with the angels in heaven. You are so special and have the biggest heart. I’m thankful for the time we spent together in college and the years after. I remember when I first met you in class I was blown away at how passionate you were about politics/law (and your sense of humor, beautiful smile and glowing skin). Thank you for being my friend and teaching me so much about cooking. I love you!
