
TERRY, Dian passed away at Hospice of Dayton on February 16, 2013. She was born to Jack and Mary Lee (Edwards) Terry on July 9, 1946, in Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Donna Moreau and great nephew, Bryan Moreau. She is survived by her nephew, Michael Moreau, great niece Michelle Moreau, great nephew Logan Moreau and step mother Jerry Terry. Dian was the great great granddaughter of Thomas Jefferson Rusk, Secretary of State in the Battle of the Alamo era and later U.S. Senator. He was one of the signers of the Texas Declaration of Independence. Dian graduated from the University of Texas in Austin 1969. She move to New York City and was the Press Secretary, New York ERA Campaign in 1975 and was Executive VP of New York National Organization for Women (NOW) in 1977. She then moved to Hong Kong and was Executive VP for Hill Knowlton Asia Ltd., Hong Kong Division, and held various executive positions at NCR and Teradata Corporation. Dian loved to garden, entertaining at her pool, an avid animal lover and active in women’s rights movements. Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at Centerville United Methodist Church, 63 E. Franklin Street, Centerville, Ohio.
