Diedre "Dee" (VanHoose) Webb

Diedre was born on August 20,1945 in Trenton, New Jersey to Leo Otis and Maxine (Maggard) VanHoose. She grew up in Paintsville, KY and later the family moved to Cincinnati, OH. She attended The Ohio State University and the University of Cincinnati. She married Michael Thomas Smith on August 20,1966 whom she met while attending the University of Cincinnati. She worked in administrative and sales while demonstrating a love and commitment for raising her two sons, as a single mother.

Diedre found her faith at an early age, and it remained a steady foundation throughout her life and was evident in the kindness and grace she extended to others. She found joy in reading her bible, traveling and experiencing new adventures. Her life reflected a beautiful love for her family and shall continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Diedre is survived by her children, Brian David Smith of Castle Rock, CO and Robert Wayne Smith of Dayton, OH. She also leaves behind 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are Eric James VanHoose (her dear brother) of Dayton, OH, Karen Varney (her dear sister) of Edmond, OK and a host of nieces and nephews.

We miss you so much, but your love shines down on us from the bright stars of the evenings, and we feel you so closely near us. The Lord bless her and keep her, the Lord make His face shine upon her and be gracious to her, the Lord lift-up his countenance upon her and give her peace, Amen
