Born in Letcher County, KY to Orlie and Malissie (Slone) DeBoard on May 8, 1941, Don will be remembered most for his love of music and being a member of the band, Dale Wright and the Wright Guys in the early 1960’s. Don was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals. He and his wife, Carmen, enjoyed their time together tending to their beautiful flower garden.
Don is survived by his children, Debbie DeBoard, the late deceased Mike DeBoard, John Kanzlemar and Brenda Dupra; 10 grandchildren; as well as 15 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ingrid (Carmen) DeBoard in March 2026.
In keeping with Don’s wishes, he will be cremated and no services are planned. Please celebrate his memory in your own way.
