Donald Schuyler

Lt. Colonel Donald F. Schuyler age 88 passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025. Don was a recent resident of Shawnee Estates Senior Living in Xenia, Ohio, and prior to Shawnee Estates he resided at Friends Community Care in Yellow Springs.

Don had a military career with the U.S. Army, retiring as Lt. Colonel in 1982. After his military career, he also worked and retired from General Dynamics where he was loved and respected yet well known to have had a very strong work ethic. Don was also a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.

Don was married to his first wife, Ann (deceased), where they had three children: Donna Jo Schuyler, Deborah Bond and David Schuyler. Don then married Pauletta (deceased in 2013), where he was a step-father to her two children, Michael Robb and Dianna Rosenbaum.

Don is not only survived by his children and step children, but also by 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Don enjoyed gatherings where he was surrounded by many generations of his family.

Previously deceased by his parents, Hubert and Katherine Schuyler; brother, Robert Schuyler; and a sister, Betty Dawson. Survived by sister-in-law, Norma (Doug) Acuff.
