Donald Carl Wilford

WILFORD, Donald C. “Don” age 81 of Kettering, OH passed away Thursday, March 29, 2012. He was a retired Civil Servant from W.P.A.F.B. with 26 years of service, graduated from Ohio State University in 1959, served 4 years in the United States Air Force, graduated from Amherst High School in 1949, and was a former volunteer at Kettering Medical Center. Don was preceded in death by his parents and a brother. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty; children, Greg Wilford ( Cindi) of Summerville, SC and Lisa Terranova (Ron) of Fairfield, OH; grandchildren, Michael & Laura Wilford and Sarah & Eric Terranova; a brother, Douglas Wilford (Dorothy) of Amherst, OH; nephews, Derek Wilford (Rene) and Dale Wilford; a niece, Dee Horn (David); and 4 great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd. Sunday, April 1, 2012, from 2 to 4 pm. Funeral service 11 am Monday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 4865 Wilmington Pk. Pastor Mark Carlson officiating. The family would like to thank Crossroads Hospice for the great care they gave Don.
