born December 6th, 1950 passed away peacefully at Hospice of Dayton on her birthday at 2:31AM at the age of 68.
Donna leaves behind her wonderful husband of 38 years, Philip Adams, and her son, Chad Michael Adams.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents Arnold and Anna Louise Geske, her sister, Sandra Cantu, and her husband’s daughter, Melissa(Adams)Olson. She is survived by her sister-in-law Linda Adams, brothers-in-law Gene(Sue)Adams, and Carl Cantu, nephew Jared Cantu (Marla and Nadia), Meagan and Alana Olson (daughters of Chad and Melissa Olson), and more beloved family.
Donna lived a beautiful life caring for others. She touched the lives of many through her precious smile and sense of helpfulness. During her time in the hospital, it was not uncommon for many nurses to stop back after meeting Donna to ‘check-in’ to see how she was doing. Always to stay out of the way, Donna made no fuss with others. She enjoyed spending time with her family playing Euchre, lounging with the family dogs Jade and Bells, and enjoying Sunday sports such as football and golf.
Donna kept high spirits, even when she continued to suffer with her medical condition. Undergoing multiple operations over the last 20 years, transfusions becoming more and more frequent, to eventual hospitalization - Donna always gave her best for her family. She remained faithful and always hoped to feel better. She never let her disease get in the way of smiling for those around her. She remained strong and survived to her birthday on December 6th.
We will be celebrating Donna’s life at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Far Hills Chapel on Tuesday December 11th, 2018 from Noon until time of service at 1:30PM with Pastor Andrew Beal officiating. Burial will follow in the David’s Cemetery.
