She volunteered her time in various capacities at St. Luke Catholic Church in Beavercreek as well as Trinity Community at Beavercreek. Donna was also a supporter of Friends of Father Eiting and St. Vincent DePaul Dayton.
A champion of five kids, six grand kids, and 5 great grands, Donna was a lover of learning, theater, and the printed word. She surprised all when she bought an electronic reader and even expanded to an iPad. Donna also enjoyed playing bridge, and played weekly up until December. She always had a soft spot for a variety of furry friends and was a supporter of Dayton and Greene County animal rescue and shelters.
She was kind and beautiful; practicing her faith everyday by reminding us “if you can’t say something nice about someone, don’t say anything at all”. Donna was deeply devoted to Saint Pio of Pietrelcina, she took to heart the saint’s prayer: “Pray, hope. Don’t worry” Somehow the world is a little different now. Donna will be missed by all those who knew, and loved, her.
